Director: Michelle Rabie

Michelle has over 17 years experience in the language services industry, and started her first translation agency in 2001. This company, Wordwide Language Services, later merged with Dilicom Language and Communication. Michelle developed a range of specialised quality-control services aimed at testing the accuracy of technical translations in particular. In November 2017, Michelle established Inkbird Language Services.

In 2002 Michelle became a member of the South African Translators’ Institute (SATI), where in 2008, she assisted the institute in setting up a corporate membership programme. Michelle also served on the SATI Executive Committee from 2009 to 2012.

Specialising in pharmaceutical translation services, it made sense for Michelle to join the South African Clinical Research Association (SACRA) in 2012. She was elected to serve on the Executive Committee in 2014, and is now serving her second term.
